Refunds & Returns Policy
Thank you for shopping at Guineys.ie.
You have the right to request a refund for your order within 30 days after delivery.
If the product you have received is damaged or faulty when delivered, please contact our Customer Services team on +353(1)6522902 or email [email protected] who will notify you of our returns procedure.
If you are returning an item and you live outside of Ireland, please contact us on +353 (1) 6522902 or email [email protected]
If you want to return any item and you live in the Republic of Ireland you can use one of the options below:
Please note that we can't accept any returns for refund or exchange either in store or online without a valid receipt or invoice. We also will not accept returns if the product is not packaged in it's original packaging as sold.
1. Free Returns via An Post (This option is only available if you have purchased your product online)
Guineys is now offereing a Free return service for online orders within the Republic of Ireland. To avail of this offer you must have access to a printer.
If you have access to a printer, you can use the An Post returnmyshopping.ie service by clicking the link below.
Returning online orders through this service is free and available only within the Republic of Ireland. Please note that we will not re-imburse you for any postage paid if you use any other service apart from An Post's Return My Shopping service for which you will need access to a printer.
If you don't have access to a printer you will incur a cost for posting, please use the pre-printed address label you received with your invoice or address the item to:
Guineys.ie, MGW, Springhill, Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork
*An Post will accept any packaged item up to 20kg and not longer than 1.5 metres. If the item you are returning is above this, please contact us on +353 (1) 6522902 or email [email protected]
2. Return to a Michael Guineys store.
Please note all of our stores are currently closed until further notice. Returning in store in currently not an option
Simply bring the item to your nearest store with your invoice and/or receipt and we will refund you for your item(s) there and then for orders of value under €50. For values over €50, we will refund your original payment method within 5 working days.
If you are returning an item that you received as incorrect/faulty, we will refund you the postage paid.
For all returns please ensure:
1. The goods are repackaged in their original packaging
2. Your receipt and invoice are with your returns
3. You have indicated your reason for return
Your refund will be issued once the return has been received. Please allow up to 7 working days for your account to be credited.
If an item is damaged, faulty or incorrect we will refund you the delivery charges. Please retain proof of postage.

We can't accept returns for exchange or refund without a valid receipt in store or online.
If you are posting a return you must organise the return of unwanted items at your own expense
Goods must be returned 'AS SOLD' in the original packaging complete 'AS NEW'.
Goods must be complete, unused, and in 'AS NEW' condition (e.g. if you have opened the box to examine the product it must have been done so without damaging the box and packaging or damaging the product in any way) and must be re-packaged as received.
Goods must be returned to our Returns Department/Store within 28 days of delivery. We are unable to accept returns of un-wanted and non-faulty items after the 28 days.
Any 'FREE GIFTS' with the products must also be returned.
Full refund of the cost of the goods is wholly conditional upon the above conditions being met and after a full inspection of the goods by our Returns department to check for completeness and correct product return.
If you wish to cancel your order after already paying, you need to inform us by email/phone immediately.
