Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) is taken back free of charge on a one-for-one, like-for-like basis. Waste batteries including rechargeable batteries are taken back free of charge. You are not obliged to make any purchase when returning old batteries. Each local authority must also accept household WEEE and small batteries free of charge at its recycling facilities. All WEEE and waste batteries must be recycled and should not be placed in any of your household wheelie bins. Make sure you always recycle all your old electrical goods and batteries
What products do you recycle?
We're happy to recycle any of your small electrical applicances & batteries on a like for like basis. If we sell an item similar to the item that you are returning, we'll be happy to take your old appliance back.
How can I recycle my appliance?
If we sell an item similar to the old appliance that you would like to return, simply bring your old appliance to your local Guineys store and we'll be delighted to take it off your hands.
Can I return an item through your online delivery service?
If you let us know that you'd like for your appliance to be collected for recycling when placing an online order, we'll be more than happy to arrange for collection of your old appliance at no extra cost.
Do I need to have made a purchase with Guineys to have my product recycled?
No. If you visit one of our stores, you can leave in your old appliance and we'll take care of the rest for you.
